Our client is seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join their team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities
- Handle accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, and collections
- Follow up on outstanding customer balances and past-due accounts
- Process vendor payments and employee reimbursements
- Reconcile bank and credit card accounts
- Maintain accurate financial records and prepare reports
- Assist with cash flow tracking, budgeting, and financial analysis
- Support audit preparation and work with external accountants as needed
- Respond to client and vendor inquiries regarding billing and payments
- Utilize QuickBooks for accounting, reporting, and reconciliations
Requirements:
- 5+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience
- Degree or certification in Accounting or a related field
- Strong QuickBooks experience
- Experience with AP, AR, invoicing, and collections
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Preferred:
- Experience in a service-based industry is a plus
